Biological Activity

FDW028 is a highly potent and selective small-molecule inhibitor of fucosyltransferase 8 (FUT8). By promoting cellular protein defucosylation, FDW028 successfully induces the selective lysosomal degradation of B7-H3 via the chaperone-mediated autophagy pathway. In addition, FDW028 effectively suppresses downstream AKT/mTOR pathway signaling, demonstrating strong overall anti-tumor activity and potent therapeutic efficacy against metastatic colorectal cancer progression. FAQ
Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
