Escin (Aescin) is a naturally occurring mixture of triterpene saponins isolated from Aesculus hippocastanum that exerts potent anti-inflammatory, vasoprotective, and venotonic activities. Mechanistically, Escin preserves endothelial barrier integrity and suppresses pro-inflammatory cytokine production by inhibiting the NF-kB signaling pathway. Downstream, these cellular actions lead to reduced vascular permeability, diminished leukocyte adhesion, and attenuated tissue edema. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
