EOAI3402143 is a small-molecule inhibitor of ubiquitin-specific peptidases USP9x, USP24, and USP5. By inhibiting deubiquitinase activity, EOAI3402143 promotes the degradation of oncogenic substrates, disrupting survival signaling in cancer cells. This inhibition increases tumor cell apoptosis and suppresses tumor growth, leading to full blockade or regression of myeloma tumors in mouse models. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
