ELN441958 is a potent, competitive, and selective bradykinin B1 receptor antagonist (Ki = 0.26 nM against native human bradykinin B1 receptor). Blockade of the bradykinin B1 receptor by ELN441958 prevents agonist-induced intracellular calcium mobilization and downstream signaling cascades associated with kinin-mediated inflammatory responses. Consequently, inhibition of this pathway reduces thermal hyperalgesia and suppresses inflammatory and neuropathic pain phenotypes. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
