Elacestrant Dihydrochloride is an orally bioavailable selective estrogen receptor degrader (SERD) that targets ERα and ERβ. By binding to estrogen receptors, it promotes target receptor degradation and suppresses estrogen receptor-mediated transcriptional activity. This downregulation disrupts downstream signaling pathways required for cell survival and proliferation, leading to the inhibition of growth in ER-positive breast cancer models and suppression of xenograft tumor growth. - Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
