EBI-2511 is a potent and orally active enhancer of zeste homolog 2 (EZH2) inhibitor. It targets the enzymatic subunit of polycomb repressive complex 2 (PRC2) to block histone H3 lysine 27 trimethylation (H3K27me3). Inhibition of EZH2 methyltransferase activity disrupts PRC2-mediated epigenetic gene silencing, leading to cell cycle arrest and suppressed cell proliferation in EZH2-dependent tumor phenotypes. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
