Dynole 34-2 is a small-molecule dynamin GTPase inhibitor that targets dynamin1 (IC50 = 6.9 µM) and dynamin2 (IC50 = 14.2 µM). By blocking dynamin-mediated pathway activity, this compound suppresses receptor-mediated endocytosis in cellular systems. In addition, Dynole 34-2 exhibits potent antimitotic properties and induces apoptotic cell death, marked downstream by pronounced cell blebbing, DNA fragmentation, and PARP cleavage. [1]
