Biological Activity
dTRIM24 is a selective bifunctional degrader targeting the TRIM24 protein. By recruiting the von Hippel–Lindau (VHL) E3 ubiquitin ligase upon binding the TRIM24 bromodomain, dTRIM24 induces proteasomal degradation of TRIM24. Downstream, loss of TRIM24 alters chromatin localization and genome-wide gene control, producing enhanced antiproliferative response compared to bromodomain inhibition in acute leukemia models. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
