Diprovocim is a synthetic agonist of the human TLR1/TLR2 heterodimer with an EC50 of 110 pM in THP-1 cells. Upon binding, it activates Toll-like receptor signaling and stimulates the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, including TNF and IL-6. This pathway activation enhances antigen-specific immune responses and cytotoxic T-cell function, exhibiting potent vaccine adjuvant activity and promoting synergistic antitumor responses when combined with checkpoint blockade in preclinical models.

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
