Desvenlafaxine Succinate hydrate is a serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor targeting the serotonin transporter (Ki = 40.2 nM) and norepinephrine transporter (Ki = 558.4 nM). By blocking the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine, it elevates extracellular neurotransmitter concentrations in the central nervous system. This enhancement of monoaminergic neurotransmission modulates downstream neural signaling pathways to exert antidepressant and analgesic phenotypes in preclinical models. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
