Biological Activity
DCZ0415 is a potent inhibitor of thyroid hormone receptor interactor 13 (TRIP13). By targeting TRIP13, it impairs nonhomologous end joining repair and suppresses NF-κB signaling pathways. These molecular events lead to reduced cell proliferation and the induction of anti-myeloma activity both in vitro and in vivo, including in primary cells derived from drug-resistant multiple myeloma patients. Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
