dCeMM1 is a molecular glue degrader targeting RNA binding motif protein(RBM. It functions by redirecting the activity of the CRL4-DCAFE3 ubiquitin ligase complex to promote proximity-induced ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation of RBM. Loss of RBMdisrupts pre-mRNA splicing programs and downstream transcriptional regulation. Consequently, dCeMM1 decreases RBMexpression levels in wild-type KBMleukemia cells and inhibits cell viability in a proteasome-dependent manner. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
