Biological Activity

DB07268 is a potent inhibitor of c-Jun N-terminal kinase 1 (JNK1) that targets the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway. Inhibition of JNK1 prevents the phosphorylation and activation of target transcription factors, including c-Jun and ATF2. This suppression attenuates downstream inflammatory gene expression, regulates cellular stress responses, and impacts programmed cell death and cell proliferation phenotypes.

FAQ
Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
