Dalpiciclib (SHR-6390) is an orally bioavailable, selective cyclin-dependent kinase 4 and 6 (CDK4/6) inhibitor. By targeting CDK4/6, dalpiciclib inhibits the phosphorylation of retinoblastoma (RB) protein and suppresses the CDK4/6-RB signaling pathway. This blockade exclusively induces G1-phase cell cycle arrest and cellular senescence, resulting in potent antiproliferative and antitumor activity in RB-positive tumor cells. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
