Cyclizine 2HCl is a piperazine derivative that acts as a histamine H1 receptor antagonist. By selectively binding to and blocking histamine H1 receptors, this compound inhibits histamine-induced intracellular calcium mobilization and downstream activation of the G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway. This targeted inhibition effectively disrupts histamine-mediated cellular signaling cascades, thereby attenuating downstream physiological responses associated with vestibular excitation. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
