Cy5.5 is a near-infrared fluorescent dye (excitation, emission utilized for covalent labeling and optical tracking of biomolecules, including peptides, proteins, and oligonucleotides. Upon conjugation to targeted ligands, Cy5.5 enables non-invasive near-infrared fluorescence optical imaging to visualize cellular uptake, tumor localization, and vascular endothelial dynamics in cell cultures and animal models without significant background autofluorescence interference.
