CT1113 is a potent dual inhibitor targeting ubiquitin-specific protease 25 (USP25) and ubiquitin-specific protease 28 (USP28). By inhibiting the deubiquitinating activity of these enzymes, CT1113 promotes the degradation of the oncogenic transcription factor c-MYC, thereby disrupting c-MYC-driven downstream signaling pathways. Consequently, CT1113 suppresses cancer cell proliferation and exhibits marked anti-tumor activity in preclinical research models of colon and pancreatic cancers. [1][2]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
