CQ211 is a cell-penetrant, potent, and selective inhibitor of right open reading frame kinase 2 (RIOK2) with a Kd of 6.1 nM. By binding RIOK2 with high selectivity in enzymatic and cellular assays, CQ211 effectively inhibits cancer cell proliferation across multiple cancer cell lines. Consequently, targeted RIOK2 inhibition by CQ211 suppresses tumor growth and demonstrates promising in vivo efficacy in mouse xenograft models. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
