Biological Activity

CPYPP is a small-molecule inhibitor of dedicator of cytokinesis 2 (DOCK2) that targets the DHR-2 domain, inhibiting its guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) activity for Rac1 with an IC50 of. By blocking DOCK2-mediated Rac activation, CPYPP suppresses downstream Rac GTPase signaling, leading to impaired lymphocyte migration and attenuated immune cell responses. CPYPP also shows inhibitory activity against DOCK180 and DOCK5. [1]

FAQ
Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
