Clifutinib is a small-molecule receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets the fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) family. By suppressing FGFR autophosphorylation and kinase activity, it interrupts downstream activation of key signaling cascades, including the RAS/MAPK and PI3K/AKT pathways. Inhibition of these signaling networks results in reduced cell proliferation, impaired cell migration, and the induction of apoptotic cell death in FGFR-dependent tumor cell models. [1]
