CHD1Li 6.11 is a potent inhibitor of chromodomain helicase DNA binding protein 1 like (CHD1L). By targeting oncogenic CHD1L chromatin remodeling activity, CHD1Li 6.11 blocks tumor progression and multidrug resistance pathways. This downstream inhibition attenuates cellular stemness and promotes antitumor activity, significantly reducing the tumor volume of colorectal cancer xenografts generated from isolated quasi-mesenchymal cells. Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
