CH7233163 is a potent, non-covalent ATP-competitive inhibitor of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase. It effectively targets triple-mutant EGFR variants, including EGFR-Del19/T790M/C797S and L858R/T790M/C797S, blocking receptor autophosphorylation and downstream AKT and ERK signaling pathways. This inhibition leads to suppression of cell proliferation and significant antitumor activity in EGFR-mutant non-small cell lung cancer models.

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
