Cefodizime Sodium is a broad-spectrum, third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that targets penicillin-binding proteins to inhibit bacterial cell wall synthesis. By maintaining stability against hydrolysis by various beta-lactamases, it retains activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The inhibition of penicillin-binding proteins disrupts peptidoglycan cross-linking within the bacterial cell wall, ultimately leading to structural destabilization and bacterial cell lysis.

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
