Biological Activity
CD1530 is a selective retinoic acid receptor agonist targeting RARγ with a Ki value of. Activation of RARγ signaling by CD1530 modulates retinoid-responsive gene expression pathways, leading to the repression of chondrogenesis and inhibition of heterotopic ossification. Downstream of receptor activation, CD1530 influences cell fate and tissue remodeling, supporting its research utility in heterotopic ossification, dermatological conditions, and cancer biology. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
