Biological Activity
CCT007093 is a potent PPM1D (WIP1) phosphatase inhibitor. By directly blocking PPM1D catalytic activity, CCT007093 prevents the dephosphorylation of key target proteins within the DNA damage response pathway, including p53 and p38 MAPK. This inhibition restores p53-mediated signaling cascades, driving cell cycle arrest, promoting apoptotic signaling, and suppressing tumor cell proliferation across various cancer models.

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
