Carbazochrome sodium sulfonate (AC-17) is a hemostatic and antihemorrhagic agent that acts as a capillary-stabilizing compound. It suppresses microvascular hyperpermeability and capillary fragility by enhancing endothelial junctional integrity and inhibiting agonist-induced vascular barrier disruption. Consequently, AC-17 preserves microvascular endothelial barrier function, decreases abnormal vessel leakage, and restores vascular homeostasis in capillary networks.

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
