Capadenoson (BAY- is an orally bioavailable, non-nucleoside partial agonist of the adenosine A1 receptor that exhibits potent anti-ischemic activity. Beyond its primary interaction with A1 receptors, Capadenoson stimulates adenosine A2B receptor-mediated G protein-coupled signaling in cardiomyocytes and cardiac fibroblasts. Through modulation of adenosine receptor pathways, this compound attenuates cardiac remodeling and promotes protective physiological responses against ischemic damage. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
