C6 Ceramide is a cell-permeable short-chain ceramide that exhibits potent anticancer activity. It enhances miR-29b expression, which suppresses endothelial cell proliferation, migration, and angiogenesis through the AKT signaling pathway. Furthermore, in combination with Trichostatin A, C6 Ceramide disrupts the HDAC6/PP1/tubulin complex to induce AKT dephosphorylation, leading to cell cycle arrest, apoptosis, and tumor growth inhibition.
