BRL-54443 is a selective serotonin receptor agonist targeting 5-HT1E (pKi 8.7) and 5-HT1F (pKi 9.25) receptors, displaying weak binding affinity for 5-HT1A, 5-HT1B, and 5-HT1D receptors. Activation of 5-HT1E and 5-HT1F receptors leads to the inhibition of adenylate cyclase and reduction of intracellular cAMP signaling. Downstream, this receptor activation modulates neurovascular function, inhibits trigeminal nociceptive transmission, and regulates serotonin-mediated synaptic signaling pathways. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
