Biological Activity

BRD-810 is a potent and highly selective inhibitor of myeloid cell leukemia 1 (MCL1). By binding to the BH3-binding pocket of MCL1, BRD-810 disrupts its interaction with pro-apoptotic proteins and blocks their sequestration. This disruption restores pro-apoptotic signalling and rapidly triggers downstream caspase activation in MCL1-dependent cancer cells, leading to anti-tumor effects across hematologic malignancies and solid tumor models. FAQ
Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
