BOC-D-FMK is a cell-permeable, broad-spectrum caspase inhibitor that targets multiple cysteine proteases in the apoptotic signaling cascade. By irreversibly blocking caspase activation, BOC-D-FMK suppresses TNFα-stimulated neutrophil apoptosis and inhibits downstream proteolytic cleavage of cellular substrates. This block in caspase activity prevents cell death programs and preserves cellular integrity across various apoptotic phenotypes and cell models. [1]
