Bezafibrate (BM 15075) is a pan-peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (pan-PPAR) agonist that activates PPARα, PPARδ, and PPARγ isoforms. Activation of PPARs regulates lipid metabolism and energy homeostasis by driving the expression of target genes involved in fatty acid oxidation and lipid transport. Consequently, it enhances mitochondrial biogenesis, improves insulin sensitivity, and attenuates inflammatory responses in cell and tissue models. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
