BD750 is an immunosuppressant acting as a dual inhibitor of JAK3 and STAT5. It effectively suppresses interleukin-2 (IL-2)-induced T cell proliferation by blocking JAK3/STAT5 pathway signaling. Through inhibition of this crucial pathway, BD750 disrupts downstream immune cell activation and proliferation responses in both mouse and human T lymphocytes, demonstrating potential for immunosuppressive applications. Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
