AZD3229 is a potent pan-KIT (c-KIT) receptor tyrosine kinase mutant inhibitor that suppresses the growth of mutant KIT-driven Ba/F3 cell lines with GI50 values ranging from 1 to. It also inhibits mutant forms of PDGFRα and PDGFRβ. By targeting mutant KIT and PDGFR receptor tyrosine kinases, AZD3229 blocks downstream oncogenic signaling pathways, including PI3K/AKT and MAPK/ERK cascades, thereby suppressing cell proliferation and survival in mutant KIT-dependent cell models.
