Biological Activity

AZA1 is a potent small-molecule dual inhibitor targeting the small GTPases Rac1 and Cdc42. By effectively blocking the activation of Rac1 and Cdc42 signaling pathways, AZA1 impairs cellular motility and cytoskeletal dynamics. This inhibition subsequently suppresses cell proliferation, migration, and invasive capacity, while concurrently inducing apoptotic cell death in prostate cancer cells. [1]
