AZ3246 is a selective inhibitor of hematopoietic progenitor kinase 1 (HPK1). By targeting HPK1, AZ3246 relieves negative regulation of T-cell receptor signaling, leading to enhanced interleukin-2 secretion and restored T-cell activity. This activation of immune cell signaling pathways promotes downstream antitumor immune responses, resulting in suppressed tumor growth in preclinical models. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
