Avitinib maleate is a third-generation, irreversible, and orally active selective inhibitor of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), demonstrating potent activity against mutant forms including EGFR L858R and T790M while sparing wild-type EGFR. Additionally, Avitinib maleate acts as a Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor, suppressing downstream signaling pathways and promoting cell apoptosis in lymphoma and lung cancer models. [1][2]
