AU-15330 is a proteolysis-targeting chimera (PROTAC) degrader targeting the SWI/SNF ATPase subunits SMARCA2 and SMARCA4. Degradation of these chromatin remodelling subunits rapidly compacts cis-regulatory elements bound by oncogenic transcription factors including AR, FOXA1, ERG, and MYC, leading to their dislodgement from chromatin and inhibition of core enhancer circuitry. Consequently, AU-15330 suppresses downstream oncogenic gene expression and induces potent tumor growth inhibition in xenograft models of prostate cancer. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
