ATUX-1215 is an orally bioavailable diarylmethyl-4-aminopyran sulfonamide and activator of protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A). It operates by stabilizing AC heterodimers and promoting heterotrimer formation with regulatory B subunits. By restoring suppressed PP2A activity in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis models, ATUX-1215 downregulates fibrotic cytokines, reduces collagen deposition, improves lung function, and exerts potent antifibrotic effects.
