Biological Activity

ART0380 is a potent and selective ATP-competitive ATR kinase inhibitor that targets the ATR-ATRIP complex. By suppressing ATR activity, it disrupts DNA damage response signaling, abolishes cell cycle checkpoints, and impairs replication stress tolerance. This leads to persistent DNA damage accumulation, replication catastrophe, and inhibition of tumor cell growth, particularly sensitizing cancer cells with loss-of-function defects in ATM-mediated signaling.[1][2]

FAQ
Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
