AL082D06 is a nonsteroidal glucocorticoid receptor (GR) antagonist that selectively inhibits GR signaling without binding to closely related steroid receptors, such as mineralocorticoid, androgen, estrogen, or progesterone receptors. By blocking GR activation, AL082D06 prevents receptor nuclear translocation and downstream transcriptional regulation of GR-responsive genes. This targeted inhibition modulates steroid receptor-mediated cellular processes and metabolic pathways involved in glucocorticoid receptor activity. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
