Ordering Information

Biological Activity

AGX51 is a first-in-class pan-Id (inhibitor of DNA-binding) protein antagonist and degrader that selectively targets and disrupts the interaction between Id1 and E47. Disruption of this protein-protein complex triggers ubiquitin-mediated proteasomal degradation of Id family proteins, restoring E-protein basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor activity. Downstream, this pathway inhibition induces cell growth arrest, impairs cellular viability, and suppresses pathologic ocular neovascularization in vascular disease models. [1]

FAQ
Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
