Biological Activity
ADS032 is a dual inhibitor of NLRP1 and NLRP3 that directly and reversibly blocks inflammasome assembly. By suppressing NLRP1- and NLRP3-dependent activation, ADS032 inhibits downstream inflammasome signaling in human-derived macrophages and bronchial epithelial cells. Consequently, it reduces interleukin-1β (IL-1β) maturation and secretion, decreases tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) production, and prevents NLRP3-induced ASC speck formation during inflammatory responses.
