ABBV-969 Payload is an agent-linker conjugate containing a potent topoisomerase I inhibitor designed for antibody-drug conjugate development. Inhibiting topoisomerase I disrupts the DNA cleavage-ligation cycle, leading to the accumulation of single- and double-strand DNA breaks during replication and transcription. This activation of DNA damage response pathways induces cell cycle arrest and apoptotic cell death, supporting its evaluation in non-small cell lung cancer research. [1]
