Triamcinolone is a glucocorticoid receptor agonist that displays anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive activities. Upon activation, it promotes the expression of lipocortins that inhibit phospholipase A2, thereby preventing arachidonic acid release and suppressing the downstream biosynthesis of inflammatory mediators including prostaglandins and leukotrienes. Additionally, triamcinolone modulates immune responses by reducing lymphatic system function, lowering immunoglobulin levels, and inducing lymphocytopenia. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
