Telatinib (BAY 57-9352) is an orally bioavailable, potent multitargeted inhibitor of receptor tyrosine kinases, including VEGFR-2, VEGFR-3, c-Kit, and PDGFR. By targeting these receptors, it suppresses VEGF-dependent downstream signaling pathways, impairing endothelial cell proliferation, vascular permeability, and tumor angiogenesis. Consequently, inhibition of receptor autophosphorylation leads to suppressed tumor vascularization and reduced growth across various cancer models. [1]
