Sapogenins glycosides (saponins) represent a class of natural products containing triterpene or steroid aglycone frameworks conjugated with sugar moieties. These compounds modulate membrane permeability and cellular signaling pathways, including NF-kB and MAPK signaling. Disruption of membrane integrity and regulation of inflammatory pathways lead to downstream biological activities, such as inhibition of vascular permeability and suppression of inflammatory mediator production in preclinical models. - Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
