OSI-930 is a potent multi-targeted receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor that primarily targets c-Kit and VEGFR-2. By co-inhibiting c-Kit and VEGFR-2, OSI-930 blocks downstream receptor tyrosine kinase signaling pathways essential for cellular survival and vascular endothelial cell function. This dual target inhibition impairs tumor cell proliferation and suppresses tumor angiogenesis across various preclinical cancer models, including small cell lung cancer, glioblastoma, and renal cell carcinomas.
