Indapamide is a non-thiazide sulfonamide diuretic that targets the Na+-Cl- cotransporter in the renal distal convoluted tubule. By inhibiting sodium and chloride reabsorption, indapamide promotes renal excretion of sodium, chloride, and water to reduce fluid volume and edema. Additionally, indapamide modulates vascular smooth muscle tone by attenuating transmembrane calcium influx, leading to reduced vascular resistance and relaxed arterial smooth muscle. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
