Hesperidin is a natural flavanone glycoside abundant in citrus fruits that exhibits potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities. It modulates key cellular pathways, reducing oxidative stress and suppressing pro-inflammatory cytokine production through NF-kB signaling regulation. In animal models, hesperidin administration attenuates bone loss and lowers serum and hepatic lipid levels, demonstrating protective bioactivities across diverse physiological processes. [1][2]
